Photo of the Day: Feets

I love unusual portrait requests!  Last year I went down to Ohio to visit my goddaughter and her parents and while I was there they asked me to take some family portraits for them.  Of course I was more than happy to do so, since I love them so much and since they gave me food and a bed for the weekend!  This was a shot they specifically requested and we had so much fun doing it!  Nat had fun sizing herself up against mom and dad... I'm sure if I get to repeat this shot in the future the sizes will be much closer... she's growing so fast!

Photo of the Day: Cozy Corner

Forgive me if I've posted this one before, I'm starting to lose track :o)  This photo was taken in Cleavland (where I am this weekend, visiting my goddaughter!) at a little restaurant where my friends took me last year when I came to visit.  I don't remember the name of the place but they had awesome fries!  This table was set up in the front room where they had a bunch of neat free-standing booths up on stages too.  We sat in the back near the bar, but I bet this place is just packed on the weekends!

Mum and I just got home from a weekend in Ohio where we were visiting my adorable goddaughter, Natalee, and her parents (Dave & Mary) :o) We had a great 3 days hanging out with them, giving mom & dad a chance to have a night out to themselves, and bonding with my Nat! She's gonna be 4 in a few months and is constantly moving... she loves to talk, draw, and colour... love fairies and Farmyard Tales, and she hates eating... in fact she has gone on record in the past as claiming she doesn't like food. It's funny when it isn't frustrating, we're all hoping she'll get over that soon!

We visited the West Side Market on Saturday, which totally made me want to go cook some huge fresh complicated meal... :o) Dave & Mary are part of a co-op that gets them farm fresh foods, so I'm gonna research that for up in our area and see if I get us into something like that too... the food is MUCH healthier, and it supports local agriculture, so I think it would be awesome.

Today has felt like a total whirlwind. I'm sure I got stuff done, I'm just not entirely what...!

I'm excited because I will get to see my goddaughter next month... my mum and I are going to drive down to OH for a weekend and play with her while her folks take a breather (they've had a LOT going on the last year and really need a breather... enter fairy godmother! heehee!)

I'm also excited because I get to see Austin tonight!! He got home from Nashville yesterday but was way too tired to see me, so I let him rest, and now we get to spend some time together tonight... goody!!! I really missed him this week. He called me last night before he went to bed and we ended up talking for like 2 hours, it was so nice! We haven't had a long talk like that in quite awhile, and certainly not over the phone...!

Alrighty, well I just wanted to blast something out there and say what up to cyberspace, so there's my what up.
